The incumbent shall work via a matrix organisation structure to sell products and services to Japanese enterprises, especially to those in manufacturing, electronics, financial services, trading etc, located in Northern China.
Regional focus on Beijing, Tianjin and Dalian.
1. Develop and maintain a strong client relationship for existing and new clients
2. Sell products and services to existing and new clients
3. Cooperate with other internal teams while selling products and services to clients
4. Identify new profitable prospects in China
5. Work with other team members during negotiation process to determine proper pricing and service levels on product and services.
6. Think outside the box while looking for prospects
7. Work with Tokyo-based colleagues in Tokyo as well to develop more JP business across China
8. Help GM to make a new production and develop new market in CN and JP
Meet and exceed quantitative and qualitative sales targets.
Build and maintain a strong short, mid and long term pipeline.
Build and maintain strong integrity-based relationships between self, customers and internal colleagues and stakeholders.
Acquire rapidly strong knowledge of the company`s products and services.
Acquire an in-depth understanding of how the service offering helps customers to achieve their business goals.
Keep up-to-date with products/solutions as they evolve, playing an active role in the development of new solutions by identifying customer needs, feeding back these needs to the organisation, and driving the development of solutions at the practical level.
You will need to understand operational/delivery issues. For customised solutions, you need to be willing and able to represent the delivery team to the client and the client to the delivery team, to broker a service agreement that meets customer’s needs expectations and is deliverable.
- Maintain and develop on-going business.
- Ensure on time payment (Accounts Receivables) with clients.
- Conduct written Key Account Plans.
