Job Description:
Reporting to the MarComms Director, The Marketing & Communication Manager will propose and lead the Communication Strategy in Japan through PR, promoting the brand image in accordance to the global company’s objectives.
Working Relationships: Retail Directors and Managers Store managers and store sales staff Merchandiser HQ Communication team
External Relations: Media PR agencies Opinion leaders and celebrities Local authorities and institutions
Responsibilities: - Optimise ROI by increasing brand exposure in the media (as defined below) - Working in collaboration with Marcom Director, define an effective communication strategy that takes into account a good balanced portfolio of media defined as: fashion magazines, internet, and mobile. - Propose and implement the Communication Plan in Japan which is in line with Communication HQ. Make and control the yearly Communication budget. - Take charge of defining the PR strategy and its implementation. - Maintain opinion leader and celebrity network in Japan. - Coordinate and lead department Communication.
Required Qualifications/Skills:
- University graduate preferable, not mandatory
- Minimum 3 years experience as PR, Marketing and Communications manager related to fashion and luxurious goods
- Good Japanese writing/speaking skills
- Fluent in English communication (TOEIC 800 equivalent)
- Strong communication and presentation
- Flexible to accept and challenge the new things
- Interpersonal skill
- Brand awareness
- PC skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
